The PSP 3000 is already doing brisk business over in Japan. The console has sold a reported 141,270 units since the console went on sale last week.
Well it’s been available in the UK for approximately 10 hours, but have any of you got your hands on the PSP 3000 which was released in the UK today?
In case you are wondering what it looks like it, it should be silver or black in colour, feature a superior, brighter anti-glare screen, a built in microphone and modified casing.

Online gaming for the PSP just took a significant leap forward, with Sony announcing that by the end of October a selection of PSP games will no longer be restricted to local wireless connection, and will instead have the ability to be played on-line worldwide.
Upcoming third person shooter ‘Resistance Retribution’ will allow players to connect their PSP to the PS3 giving you the chance to use of your Dualshock on the hand held wonder.
The PSP 3000 is almost here (next week for North America) and some new details have been announced regarding the bundles which will be available…
