The feature is known as PSP Plus and it has the potential to be adopted by future titles but for the moment it is limited to Resistance Retribution only. Having the option of using the Dualshock means that you will have ‘rumble’ at your disposal plus dual analog control within the game! 

This game already looks like a winner and this extra connectivity feature just seals the deal expect a Spring 2009 launch, we’ll keep you posted.

Media Molecule founder Mark Healy suggested that a PSP version of LittleBigPlanet was not out of the question when he told EurogamerTV that “It’d be great to make, for the people who are really into the Create side, some kind of companion products that allow you to create things while you’re on the train.”

He went on to add ”One thing that I’d love to add is the ability to create your own music, for example, that you can import into the game. That seems like an obvious one to do and it’d be quite easy really.”

So what do you think – LBP on PSP?

Sounds like a case of a Littler LittleBigPlanet.

However he proposed that integrating existing online games with the console is the immediate priority explaining how ‘ In Free Realms you could have a pet training system that literally connects to our online gaming where you can mess around with your pet.’

Alternatively mini-games could be an avenue they may develop ‘Another way to do it might be to give them mini-games that they can do when sitting at a bus stop, “You’re sitting there leveling up your character, you log in at home when you’re on Wi Fi, and all of sudden your character has leveled up. We think those kinds of experiences are very possible.”

So MMOs on the PSP – any titles you’d like to see?

What makes this news as crisp as freshly driven snow is that the title will be designed especially for the console and won’t be ported in ‘willy nilly’.

The PSP version will provide the option of hurling yourself down 5 different snow covered mountains (I believe they are called ‘runs’ but don’t quote me on that) and  look out for various multi-player features and solo action which will allow you to gain experience and additional attributes.

It’s looking pretty good to me and it’s released on November 16th.

Manchester United and arch rivals Liverpool have already been announced and you can now add FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, FC Porto, Brondy IF and UEFA cup winners Zenit. St Petersburg to the list.

A selection of national sides have also been included with teams such as Italy, Holland and Northern Ireland making an apperance, throw in a quick four year licensing agreement with UEFA allowing a European Champions League and you’ve finally got a game which may rival my Uncle’s epic Subbuteo tournaments back in the day.

The Force Unleashed has raced to the top of the charts regardless of platform and provides us all with an opportunity to play the part of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice.

So now the dust has settled what do you think of the game?

Suprisingly the critics didn’t seem to be blown away (at least not unanimously) and with the PSP providing a different gaming experience from it’s PS3 counterpart it would be interesting to know how you feel this version of the game stands up.

Over a period of a couple of weeks we have seen Manchester City go from pauper to prince,Kevin Keegan leave Newcastle United creating uproar from the fans, Zola is now the manager of West Ham and Liverpool have finally defeated arch rivals Manchester United under the stewardship of Benitez.

I wonder if any of these boardroom struggles and sudden windfalls from Dubai will appear in the latest edition of Football Manager for the PSP? 

With around two months till it’s release anything could have happened in the world of football.

The ‘transfer window’ opens on November 14th with pre-orders available now.

Whilst not as well known as villains such as The Riddler, The Joker and The Penguin, ‘Hush’ has become a firm favourite amongst fans of the Caped Crusader having made several appearances in the comic.

In common with Batman ‘Hush’ has no ’superpowers’ but does have advanced physical and mental capabilities alongside his skills as a surgeon.

Due to a long running jealousy of Bruce Wayne / Batman he has sworn to bring about his downfall.

Is it going to be the greatest Star Wars game ever or will it collapse under the weight of expectation?

We’ll soon find out as the game is released next week!

As you probably know by now the PSP version contains all the same plot points as the major console versions but with an entirely different level design, not to mention 5 levels not featured elsewhere.

The graphics look sensational, the music and sound effects will only enhance the gaming experience and although the PSP won’t have quite the same physics engine as the bigger consoles, you’ll still be able to throw stormtroopers all over the place with the Force and that should be good enough!
